How a Fruggals Deal Is Different
A conventional online purchase normally proceeds as an individual order. A Fruggals campaign depends on a group reaching a stated target. That target brings together the demand needed for the agreed offer.
This means two dates matter: the campaign deadline and the expected delivery date. The campaign page explains both, so you can decide whether the timing works for you.
Know What You Are Buying
Before joining a campaign, review the product information carefully.
Each offer should explain:
- The product name, brand and identifying details.
- The main features, materials, dimensions and specifications.
- Available sizes, colours or other options.
- The quantity included.
- The contents of any bundle.
- Relevant usage instructions and safety information.
- Any limitations that may affect your decision.
- Whether the goods are new or another condition is expressly stated.
Product photographs help show the offer, but the written description identifies what is included. Decorative items or accessories are included only where the campaign says so.
Understand the Price
The campaign displays the group price, including applicable VAT. Delivery charges and other unavoidable costs are disclosed before you confirm participation. Your checkout summary shows the amount you agree to pay. Under our standard fixed-price model, the group price is agreed when you join. More participants help unlock that price; they do not automatically reduce it further.
If we offer a campaign with price tiers in the future, its page will explain how those tiers work and how the final amount is determined before anyone commits.
Understanding Advertised Savings
Where we show a saving, we identify the comparison used. For example, a manufacturer’s recommended retail price is different from a previous Fruggals selling price. A comparison with another retailer’s price is different again. We explain the reference point so you can assess the offer fairly. Savings vary between products and campaigns.
Where we announce a reduction from our own previous selling price, the applicable prior-price rules apply. Generally, the reference is the lowest price we applied during at least the previous 30 days, subject to the relevant exceptions. European Commission pricing guidance
Check Campaign Progress
Every campaign shows its target, current progress and deadline. The page explains whether progress is measured by individual buyers, qualifying orders or units. A campaign requiring a certain number of buyers does not treat every item ordered as a separate person. Participation counts according to the campaign’s stated rules, including any requirement to complete a valid payment setup. We use genuine deadlines and explain any stock or participation limits.
Provide Payment Details Through Stripe
To join a deal, you provide your payment details through Stripe and authorise the payment arrangement explained at checkout. Providing payment details is different from paying for the purchase.
No campaign purchase payment is collected when you join. Collection takes place only after the campaign succeeds, according to the arrangement you agreed.
Your bank may require verification of your payment method. If the payment setup involves a temporary authorisation, we explain that before you confirm.
If the Campaign Succeeds
We notify you that the campaign has reached its success conditions. Payment is then processed under your agreed arrangement. Where your bank requires an additional action, we explain what you need to do. Your order proceeds towards fulfilment within the delivery period stated for that campaign.
If the Campaign Does Not Succeed
If the target is not reached by the deadline, the campaign does not proceed. We do not collect the campaign purchase payment. Any temporary authorisation associated with the campaign is cancelled or allowed to expire. Your bank controls when a released authorisation disappears from your account.
We do not automatically move your participation to another campaign or charge for an alternative product.
Your Rights Remain Part of the Purchase
Buying through a group campaign does not remove your consumer rights. Our FAQ explains delivery, withdrawal, returns, refunds and faulty goods. Our Terms and Conditions describe the purchase agreement.
